In the middle of a dream,
I woke up in the night.
I wish I hadn't seen
Those that weren't alright.
They feel weaker by the day,
I feel their pain inside.
No matter how much they pray,
They can no longer bear the ride.
'Mercy,' was what they asked me.
To save them was my will.
All I needed was to flee,
To leave night in its still.
That which happens through light,
Repeats itself in the dark.
Eternally spiralling by our might,
On our minds is where they embark.
All days in the light,
All nights in the darkness.
My days are bright,
My nights are endless.
In the middle of a dream,
I woke up in the night.
I wish I hadn't seen
Those that weren't alright.
They feel weaker by the day,
I feel their pain inside.
No matter how much they pray,
They can no longer bear the ride.
'Mercy,' was what they asked me.
To save them was my will.
All I needed was to flee,
To leave night in its still.
That which happens through light,
Repeats itself in the dark.
Eternally spiralling by our might,
On our minds is where they embark.
All days in the light,
All nights in the darkness.
My days are bright,
My nights are endless.
